In 1987, the actress and Boney Kapoor grew closer and in 1988, her marriage to Mithun was annulled. Boney and Sridevi got married in 1996 and stayed married till 2018, until she passed away in February. They have two daughters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor.
